Islamabad: Indian forces and intelligence agencies have escalated their cordon and search operations and raids across multiple districts in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, instilling fear among the local population. Joint teams of Indian Army, paramilitary personnel, Special Operations Group, and the State Investigation Agency have intensified house raids and searches in Kishtwar, Islamabad, Poonch, Rajouri, Udhampur, and Ramban districts.
According to Radio Pakistan, in Kishtwar, the operation entered its third consecutive day in the dense forests of the Singhpora-Chatroo area, with drones, helicopters, and para-commandos actively participating in the efforts. Simultaneously, fresh cordon and search operations have been launched across various areas of Islamabad, further increasing the presence of security forces in the region.
Meanwhile, New Delhi-controlled State Investigation Agency, along with Indian paramilitary forces and police, carried out a series of coordinated raids across Poonch, R
ajouri, Udhampur, and Ramban. Fifteen locations were targeted in the Surankote sub-division and Haveli tehsil of Poonch district, indicating a wide-reaching strategy to secure the areas.
Additional searches took place in Rajouri town, Ramnagar in Udhampur, and in various areas of Ramban. During the crackdowns, Indian forces also seized important documents and other valuables from the residents, adding to the tension and concern among the local populace.
