London: Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Dr. Muhammad Faisal, stated that any Indian aggression against Pakistan will receive an appropriate response, as has been the case in the past. In an interview, Dr. Faisal referenced the 2019 Pulwama attack, highlighting Pakistan’s firm and effective response at that time.
According to Radio Pakistan, Dr. Faisal emphasized Pakistan’s capability to respond with full force if necessary, yet reiterated the country’s desire for peace and the resolution of issues through dialogue. Addressing India’s allegations against Pakistan concerning the Pahalgam incident, Dr. Faisal firmly rejected these accusations. He pointed out that in several instances, investigations revealed that terror incidents, initially blamed on Pakistan, had origins within India itself.
Dr. Faisal further identified the Jammu and Kashmir dispute as the root cause of conflict between India and Pakistan. He criticized India for not honoring its commitment made in the UN Security Council to provide the right to self-determination to the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
