India Waging Cross-Border Terrorism Against Pakistan: DG ISPR

Rawalpindi: Irrefutable evidence proves that India has been waging state-sponsored cross-border terrorism against Pakistan. Addressing a news conference in Rawalpindi, Director General ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry stated that India has been found to operate a terror network inside Pakistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Director General revealed that serving Indian army personnel are involved in providing explosives, IEDs, finances, and other material support to terrorists, targeting both military and innocent civilians in Pakistan. He disclosed the apprehension of an Indian-trained and sponsored terrorist, Abdul Majeed, near Jhelum Bus Stand. From Majeed, authorities recovered an IED weighing 2.5 kilogrammes, two mobile phones, and seventy thousand rupees in cash. Further investigation led to the recovery of an Indian drone and one million rupees in cash from Majeed’s residence.

Lieutenant General Chaudhry presented Majeed’s social media chats and conversations with his handlers, inviting any credible independent agency to examine the evidence of Indian involvement in fostering terrorism within Pakistan. The conversations revealed that Majeed was in contact with Indian Army personnel, including Major Sandeep Verma, alias Sameer; Subedar Sukvinder, alias Sikander; Havildar Amit, alias Adil Aman; and another official. These interactions exposed the Indian terror network operating in Pakistan, from Balochistan to Lahore, with directives given to Majeed to target crowded areas to cause civilian casualties.

The Director General expressed admiration for the resilience of the Pakistani people and the dedication of the country’s law enforcement, intelligence agencies, and armed forces in bravely facing these challenges daily. He affirmed that Pakistan remains steadfast and undeterred by such threats.

Regarding the Pahalgam incident, Chaudhry mentioned that despite seven days passing since the event, no evidence has been provided to support the baseless allegations made against Pakistan.
