Srinagar: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has stated that India has transformed illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir into a military cantonment and police state.

According to Radio Pakistan, Hurriyat Conference spokesperson Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas expressed in a statement issued in Srinagar that the BJP-led Indian government, along with its appointed Lieutenant Governor’s administration, has declared war on the oppressed Kashmiris.

He highlighted that under India’s illegal occupation, the safety of honor, dignity, lives, and property of the Kashmiri people is severely compromised. Millions of Indian occupation soldiers stationed in the territory have been given free rein to carry out acts of violence against Kashmiris.

The Hurriyat spokesperson also condemned the recent surge in arrests of Kashmiris during search and cordon operations conducted by Indian forces throughout the occupied region.
