New York: Pakistan's delegate to the United Nations in New York, Saima Saleem, stated that Pakistan, along with the international community, had condemned the Pahalgam incident.

According to Radio Pakistan, during a sharp verbal exchange with Indian Ambassador Parvathaneni Harish at the UN Security Council, Saleem asserted that no amount of obfuscation can conceal the facts. She claimed that India brazenly kills and maims civilians in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and has engaged in blatant aggression against Pakistan, targeting civilians.

The Pakistani delegate also accused India of sponsoring terrorism and carrying out assassinations in her country and worldwide. She challenged India to agree to credible, impartial, and independent investigations into the incident if it had nothing to hide.

Saima Saleem further stated that India continues to subject people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir to state-sponsored terrorism in a bid to suppress their legitimate freedom struggle.
