Karachi: In the ICC T20 World Cup, England beat Sri Lanka by 51 runs in Pallekele today.

According to Radio Pakistan, batting first, England scored 146 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in their 20 overs. Opener Phil Salt played a strong innings, scoring 62 runs and helping his team set a competitive total.

In response, Sri Lanka managed to score only 95 runs in 16.4 overs, falling short of the target by a significant margin.
