Lahore: Benazir Income Support Programme Chairperson Rubina Khalid has announced the launch of the Benazir Hunarmand Programme, aimed at equipping deserving individuals with essential skills to become financially self-reliant. She shared this development while addressing a news conference at the BISP zonal office in Lahore.

According to Radio Pakistan, Khalid emphasized the global recognition of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto's contributions to women's rights. The chairperson also explained that the programme would utilize a digital wallet system to ensure that financial assistance is transferred directly to the digital wallets of deserving women, thereby enhancing transparency and efficiency.
