Hot, Dry Weather Expected Across Country, PMD Reports


Karachi: Mainly hot and dry weather is anticipated in most parts of the country, with very hot conditions expected in the plain areas over the next twelve hours.



According to Radio Pakistan, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has provided the temperature readings for major cities recorded this morning. Islamabad registered a temperature of twenty-three degrees centigrade, Lahore twenty-nine, Karachi thirty, Peshawar twenty-five, Quetta twenty-six, Gilgit fourteen, Murree thirteen, and Muzaffarabad nineteen degrees centigrade.



The forecast also covers the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir region, where partly cloudy and dry weather is predicted in cities such as Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula. This morning, the temperature recorded in these areas stood at eleven degrees centigrade for both Srinagar and Baramula, twenty-three in Jammu, two in Leh, and ten degrees centigrade in Pulwama, Anantnag, and Shopian. The PMD’s weather predictions underscore the continuation of dry conditions, affecting both local residents and agriculture.
