Islamabad:Most plain areas of the country are expected to experience hot and dry weather over the next twelve hours.

According to Radio Pakistan, rain, windstorms, and thunderstorms are predicted for upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper and central Punjab, and Islamabad. Heavy rain and hail are likely to occur at isolated locations during this period. Additionally, light rain and thunderstorms may affect isolated places in Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.

This morning, the temperatures recorded in major cities were as follows: Islamabad, Lahore, and Peshawar at 23 degrees Celsius, Karachi at 27, Quetta at 13, Gilgit at 15, Murree at 12, and Muzaffarabad at 17 degrees Celsius.

For Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the weather forecast suggests partly cloudy conditions with chances of rain, wind, and thunderstorms in several areas including Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, Baramula, and Jammu. The temperatures recorded this morning in these locations were: Srinagar at 12 degrees Celsius, Jammu at 22, Leh at 6, Pulwama and Shopian at 14, and Anantnag and Baramula at 13 degrees Celsius.
