Hot and Dry Conditions Prevail Across Nation Amid Scattered Thunderstorms

Islamabad: Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. However, regions such as upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, Islamabad, and Northeastern Punjab may experience partly cloudy weather, accompanied by rain, windstorms, and thunderstorms. There is also a possibility of heavy falls and hailstorms at a few locations.

According to Radio Pakistan, temperatures recorded this morning in major cities include Islamabad at eighteen degrees centigrade, Lahore at twenty-five, Karachi at thirty-one, Peshawar at twenty-three, Quetta at seventeen, Gilgit at nineteen, Murree at fourteen, and Muzaffarabad at twenty-one degrees centigrade.

The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir suggests partly cloudy and dry conditions with chances of rain and thunderstorms in Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, and Shopian. Leh and Baramula are expected to remain partly cloudy and dry, while Jammu will experience hot and dry conditions. This morning, temperatures in these regions were recorded as follows: Srinagar, Pulwama, and Anantnag at fourteen degrees centigrade, Jammu at twenty-three, Leh at seven, and Shopian and Baramula at thirteen degrees centigrade.
