Hanif Seeks German Expertise to Modernize Pakistan Railways


Islamabad: Minister for Railways, Hanif Abbasi has expressed the resolve to take benefit from the expertise of the German experts to further modernize Pakistan Railways. He was speaking with German Ambassador Alfred Grannas, who called on him in Islamabad on Monday.



According to Radio Pakistan, during the meeting, the two sides held detailed discussions to further strengthen diplomatic, economic, and industrial relations between Pakistan and Germany. They explored the possibilities of working on joint projects for the uplift of Pakistan Railways and agreed to elevate relations between Pakistan and Germany to new heights, benefiting the economies and people of both countries.



Hanif Abbasi stated that Pakistan Railways would not only be provided with better infrastructure but also modern technical facilities to offer speedy and quality services to passengers. He also extended an invitation to the German Ambassador to visit the historical museum at Golra Railway Station.
