Islamabad: Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi has urged for stronger collaboration between Pakistan Railways and WAPDA to boost the national economy. He was talking to Chairman Water and Power Development Authority Sajjad Ghani in Islamabad.
According to Radio Pakistan, both sides explored ways to strengthen cooperation between their organizations for addressing Pakistan’s energy and infrastructure challenges. This collaboration aims to leverage the strengths of both entities to foster economic development and tackle pressing issues in the sectors of energy and infrastructure.
On his part, Sajjad Ghani stated that WAPDA is ready to work with Pakistan Railways on new projects that could help resolve the ongoing energy crisis and improve energy transmission systems. The collaboration is expected to not only enhance energy distribution but also support the development of infrastructure, thereby contributing positively to the national economy.
The meeting between Hanif Abbasi and Sajjad Ghani signifies a step towards aligning the objectives of Pakistan Railways and WAPDA, potentially leading to innovative solutions and joint ventures in the future.
