Lahore: Railways Minister Muhammad Hanif Abbasi has directed for enhancing revenue of Pakistan Railways by extending greater facilities to the business community. Chairing a meeting in Lahore today, he said that while progress had been made, there was still significant room for improvement in both freight and passenger sectors.
According to Radio Pakistan, Abbasi emphasized the need for a model plan comprising fifty wagons for the transportation of automobiles to further tap freight potential. This initiative aims to boost the railway's freight services, thereby increasing its revenue streams significantly.
