Quetta: Security forces have achieved significant success in Operation Radd-ul-Fitna in Balochistan, as a group of notorious terrorists in the area has surrendered and laid down their arms. The development comes as a result of joint efforts by security forces and Mir Aftab Bugti, the brother of the Chief Minister of Balochistan, aimed at restoring peace and stability in the province.
According to Radio Pakistan, a group involved in terrorism, looting, and other criminal activities surrendered before the State of Pakistan. The group, led by Mirak Khan Chakrani, laid down arms along with twenty-five associates. It had previously been involved in incidents of robbery and extortion. The militants also handed over a large quantity of weapons and ammunition to authorities.
Mirak Khan Chakrani has also announced joining the "Chakrani Peace Force" to support efforts against extremist elements. The effective strategy adopted under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna will encourage other militant and criminal elements in Balochistan to surrender before the state in the near future.
