Kabul: The incompetence of the Afghan Taliban government has plunged the Afghan people into a severe humanitarian crisis, marked by poverty, hunger, and destitution.

According to Radio Pakistan, with the onset of winter, many families in Afghanistan are facing severe hardships. Children in Afghanistan are living in the winter without shoes and in unsuitable clothing. Amu TV reports that widespread poverty in Afghanistan is further exacerbating the suffering of its citizens.

The Afghan citizens said they are hungry and thirsty. "Our children do not even have shoes or warm jackets to wear," they lamented.
