Lahore: Adviser to Prime Minister on Industries and Production Haroon Akhtar Khan announced that the government is set to unveil a new Auto Policy aimed at providing incentives to all stakeholders, including auto parts manufacturers. Speaking at the Pakistan International Auto Show 2026 in Lahore, he highlighted the government's commitment, under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's vision, to support the auto industry. According to Radio Pakistan, the new policy is expected to assist auto parts manufacturers in increasing their export capabilities. The involvement of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority as a strategic partner of the Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts and Accessories Manufacturers underscores the collaborative effort to boost the industry.
