Govt to Launch ASAN Khidmat Center to Enhance Public Service Delivery

Islamabad: Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Cheema has announced the upcoming inauguration of the first ASAN Khidmat Center in Islamabad, poised to transform public service delivery in Pakistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ahad Cheema, during a briefing in Islamabad, directed all concerned departments to submit their final recommendations within a week to expedite the project. He highlighted the necessity of integrating global best practices and utilizing technical support from Azerbaijan. The Capital Development Authority and Ministry of IT have been tasked with completing the procurement plan.

The initiative is a result of a recent Memorandum of Understanding between Pakistan and Azerbaijan, aimed at adopting Azerbaijan’s successful citizen-centric service model. The ASAN Khidmat Center will act as a comprehensive facility, providing over 100 essential government services, catering to various stages of life from birth to death.
