Islamabad: Chairman PM’s Youth Program Rana Mashhood Khan has announced that two hundred billion rupees will be allocated this year to provide loans to the youth under the Prime Minister’s Youth Program. This initiative aims to empower young individuals to start their own businesses.
According to Radio Pakistan, Rana Mashhood Khan, while addressing the Rectors’ conference in Islamabad, emphasized the government’s focus on education, technical education, and various sectors to support youth empowerment. He also highlighted the introduction of ethical education and training programs for skilled workers who are preparing to seek employment opportunities abroad.
Rana Mashhood Khan commended the collaborative efforts of the Association of Private Sector Universities Pakistan and COMSTECH for uniting national and international leaders in higher education on a shared platform. The 6th Rectors Conference underscored the mutual dedication of academic leaders from around the world to enhance evidence-based policy development and reinforce Pakistan’s higher education system.
The conference saw participation from approximately one hundred seventy Vice Chancellors and Rectors from universities across the nation, including forty foreign delegates from seventeen countries. It was a joint effort organized by the Association of Private Sector Universities Pakistan and COMSTECH, in partnership with leading Pakistani universities.
Souvenirs were distributed among the participating delegates as a token of appreciation for their involvement in the event.
