Govt-Sponsored Hajj Scheme Sees 98% Pilgrims Secure Visas

Islamabad: The Hajj Operation is progressing smoothly, with ninety-eight percent of intending pilgrims having received their visas under the government-sponsored scheme. A successful execution of the operation is evident as the majority of the applicants have completed the necessary visa procedures.

According to Radio Pakistan, some pilgrims hailing from remote and underprivileged areas encountered challenges related to biometric verification. Despite these hurdles, the spokesperson of the Religious Affairs Ministry emphasized the ongoing efforts to resolve the issues affecting the pending cases.

The Ministry’s Hajj IT Cell remains actively engaged with the pilgrims, offering continuous support and guidance. The spokesperson assured that pilgrims who missed their flights due to visa delays or personal reasons are being accommodated on subsequent flights to ensure their participation in the pilgrimage.

Additionally, the Hajj camps are operational seven days a week, providing necessary facilities and assistance to the pilgrims, further demonstrating the Ministry’s commitment to a successful Hajj operation this year.
