Govt Prioritizes Healthy Recreational Opportunities with ‘Uraan Pakistan Family Festival’


Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has emphasized the government’s commitment to providing healthy recreational opportunities to the public, highlighting this as a top priority. He expressed these sentiments while overseeing the arrangements for the ‘Uraan Pakistan Family Festival’, an event successfully organized by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting at F-9 Park, Islamabad, on Sunday.



According to Radio Pakistan, before the festival commenced, Minister Tarar visited the venue to inspect the stalls, stage area, and family zones set up for recreational activities. He provided necessary instructions to the officials involved. The Minister stressed the importance of such programs in fostering social harmony within society.



The festival’s success was attributed to the special guidance of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the government’s people-friendly policies. The recent victory in the Mark-e-Haq served as a morale booster for the nation and added to the festive spirit. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also played a crucial role by ensuring full cooperation for the event, while the Ministry of Interior guaranteed foolproof security arrangements.



The district administration and other institutions made significant contributions to ensure the festival was conducted safely and peacefully. A large number of women, children, youth, and elders participated, with residents of Rawalpindi and Islamabad enjoying the festival in a pleasant environment. The high public turnout demonstrated the citizens’ determination to revive positive activities and maintain a smooth flow of daily life.



The festival featured performances by renowned Pakistani singers Atif Aslam, Farhan Saeed, Nimra Mehra, Jabar Abbas, and Zoneeb Zahid, who received great appreciation from the audience. Hosts Shafaat Ali and Sophia Ahmed engaged the crowd with captivating performances, enhancing the festival’s appeal.



The ‘Uraan Pakistan Family Festival’ not only offered entertainment to Islamabad’s citizens but also sent a strong message of resilience. It underscored the nation’s eagerness to continue positive activities at the national level, undeterred by challenges.
