Govt Pledges Elimination of Terrorism, Says Tarar


Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has emphasized that the State of Pakistan will go to great lengths to ensure the country’s defense and stability. He made this assertion during the inaugural meeting of the National Paigham-e-Aman Committee in Islamabad.



According to Radio Pakistan, Tarar stated that there is no room for terrorists in the country and reiterated the government’s commitment to eradicating terrorism. He highlighted that Paigham-e-Pakistan is focused on defending the ideological boundaries of the nation and conveyed a clear message that there can be no Jihad against the State of Pakistan, with supporting decrees from Ulema.



Tarar also noted that Paigham-e-Pakistan aims to protect minority rights and acknowledged the contributions of the non-Muslim community towards interfaith harmony. He mentioned that the message of peace from the National Paigham-e-Aman Committee will be disseminated nationwide through conferences, seminars, and social media platforms.



Furthermore, Tarar asserted that facilitators, supporters, and abettors of terrorists are themselves considered terrorists. He reminded that Pakistan has sacrificed over ninety thousand lives in the war against terrorism and stressed that terrorists lack any distinct creed, color, or race.



The Minister paid tribute to the armed forces of Pakistan for their invaluable role in the war on terrorism and their unwavering commitment to defending the nation.
