Islamabad: Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Chaudhry Salik Hussain has said that safe and organized overseas employment is the government's priority. He made these remarks while addressing an event in connection with International Migrants Day in Islamabad. According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister highlighted the significant role that migrants play in global economic and social development. He noted that approximately 12 million Pakistanis are currently working abroad, contributing to the strengthening of the national economy through their remittances. Chaudhry Salik Hussain emphasized that the government is committed to implementing effective measures for the protection and rights of migrants. He also mentioned that skill development programs are crucial in providing Pakistanis with better opportunities for overseas employment.
