Lahore: Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has called upon the youth to actively participate in safeguarding the country from climate risks under the government’s Green Productivity Vision. He made this appeal while addressing the two-day International Conference on Green Productivity at Lahore University of Management Sciences.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ahsan Iqbal emphasized that the government is actively implementing green projects across various industries to enhance Pakistan’s global competitiveness. This initiative is part of a broader effort to integrate sustainable practices within the national economic framework.
In discussions with the media, Ahsan Iqbal criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, describing its politics as non-democratic and aimed at fostering unrest. He accused the PTI leadership of engaging in political vengeance, tarnishing Pakistan’s international image, and aligning with hostile foreign interests.
Additionally, the Minister inaugurated a National Incubation Center at the University of Narowal. During the inauguration, he highlighted the establishment of National Incubation Centers as a move towards positioning Pakistan as a regional technology hub, signifying a commitment to fostering innovation and technological advancement.
