Rawalpindi: The government is in the process of developing a policy to establish Pharma Parks specifically for pharmaceutical Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), as stated by Haroon Akhtar Khan, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Industries and Production. During a meeting with a delegation of SMEs in Rawalpindi, Khan emphasized the government's commitment to addressing the needs of these enterprises in accordance with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's vision. According to Radio Pakistan, Khan reassured the delegates that the government is dedicated to solving their challenges and fostering the growth of the pharmaceutical sector. He highlighted the ongoing efforts to advance local vaccine manufacturing, noting that the National Vaccine Policy is nearing its final stages of development.
