Narowal: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has highlighted the government’s efforts to reduce electricity prices while inaugurating the provision of Re-gasified Liquified Natural Gas (RLNG) connections in Narowal. During the ceremony, Iqbal emphasized the government’s active role in addressing the country’s energy issues.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ahsan Iqbal reassured attendees that the government is working diligently to lower electricity prices as part of broader efforts to stabilize the economy. In addition to energy reforms, the Minister mentioned the government’s initiative to reduce tax rates, urging taxpayers to assist in identifying tax evasion to alleviate the tax burden.
Iqbal further stressed that the nation’s development hinges on increasing tax revenue. He noted that the new RLNG connections would help residents meet their fuel needs during winter, highlighting the government’s commitment to improving energy access and affordability.
