Islamabad: Minister for Power Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari has stated that the government is actively engaged in enhancing the electricity distribution system and working towards reducing electricity prices.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister highlighted the recent relief measures providing a reduction of 7.41 rupees per unit for domestic consumers and 7.59 rupees per unit for industries. He emphasized that these reductions in power tariffs are significant steps in fulfilling the government’s commitment to the public.
Leghari expressed confidence that the decrease in electricity prices will have a positive impact on the country’s industrial sector, fostering industrialization.
