Govt Committed to Further Improve Health System: Mustafa

Karachi: Minister for National Health Services Syed Mustaf Kamal has reiterated the government's commitment to further improve the health system in the country. Inaugurating a digital health dispensary in Karachi today, Syed Mustaf Kamal expressed concern over the health challenges facing Pakistan, noting that eleven million citizens are infected with hepatitis, and every third person suffers from diabetes, a leading cause of the increasing rate of heart attacks in the country.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister emphasized the government's responsibility in ensuring the provision of potable drinking water, treatment of sewage water, and maintaining cleanliness to foster a healthy society. These measures are seen as essential steps in addressing the current health issues and preventing further complications in the future.
