Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to strengthen ties with the Pakistani diaspora, recognize their contributions, and ensure practical facilitation for them and their families at home. He was chairing a committee meeting to review progress on the special package for Overseas Pakistanis, a follow-up to the Prime Minister’s directives issued after the Overseas Pakistanis Conference in April this year.
According to Radio Pakistan, while progress was noted during the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister directed ministries to expedite remaining deliverables. This move is part of the government’s broader initiative to engage more effectively with Pakistanis living abroad, acknowledging their significant role in the nation’s economic and social development.
