Islamabad: Coordinator to Prime Minister Rana Ihsaan Afzal Khan has announced that the government aims to increase the share of bank credit for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) from seven percent to thirteen percent over the next two years.

According to Radio Pakistan, during an event in Islamabad, Rana Ihsaan Afzal Khan highlighted that this initiative would create a financing opportunity ranging from one to two trillion rupees for the SME sector. He emphasized that improving access to credit is crucial for fostering the growth of small and medium-sized businesses.
