Islamabad: Minister of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf has announced that the government is committed to ensuring uniform and quality food, accommodation, and transportation facilities for pilgrims. He made this announcement while addressing a certificate distribution ceremony in Islamabad, marking the completion of the first phase of a 10-day training program for Khuddam-ul-Hujjaj.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister emphasized that the trained Khuddam-ul-Hujjaj are well-prepared to serve Pakistani pilgrims, uphold discipline in line with Saudi regulations, and address any potential challenges. He highlighted that serving the guests of Almighty Allah is not just a duty but a significant honor and achievement.
Yousaf also mentioned the plan to increase female staff from 45 to 85 by Hajj 2026, to better assist female pilgrims. This initiative aims to provide improved support and services to women during their pilgrimage.
