Islamabad: The government has made the decision to extend the gas supply to the urea sector for an additional three months, with the new deadline set for June 30 this year. This resolution was made during a meeting of the Committee in Islamabad, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammed Ishaq Dar.
According to Radio Pakistan, the decision aims to ensure the continuous availability of gas supply to the urea sector. The move is intended to support the stability of urea prices in the market.
During the meeting, the committee expressed satisfaction with the current stock position of urea and the stability of its prices across the country. The decision underscores the government’s commitment to maintaining a stable supply chain for essential agricultural inputs.
