Islamabad: The government has announced a reduction in petroleum prices for the next fortnight. This decision is set to provide some financial relief to consumers as they navigate the current economic landscape.

According to Radio Pakistan, a notification has been issued detailing the new pricing structure. The price of petrol has been decreased by two Rupees per litre, bringing the new price to two hundred and fifty-two Rupees and sixty-three Paisas per litre. Similarly, the price of high-speed diesel has been reduced by two Rupees per litre, with the new price set at two hundred fifty-six Rupees and sixty-four Paisas per litre.

These changes are effective starting today (Thursday), and they reflect the government’s ongoing efforts to manage energy costs for the public.
