Government Aims to Boost Foreign Investment Through Diplomatic Efforts: Tarar

Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has highlighted Pakistan’s significant diplomatic achievements and ongoing efforts to attract foreign investment into the country. During a seminar titled “Pakistan’s Diplomatic Achievements,” held in Islamabad, Tarar emphasized the critical role of diplomacy in garnering international support, particularly during the recent stand-off with India in May.

According to Radio Pakistan, Tarar praised the dedication and contributions of both former and current diplomats and ambassadors who have worked tirelessly to uphold Pakistan’s interests on the global stage. Despite limited resources, these diplomats have succeeded in maintaining the nation’s stature and achieving diplomatic successes. He noted that their services will be remembered for significantly advancing Pakistan’s diplomatic standing.

Tarar further elaborated on the support Pakistan received from friendly nations during the confrontation with India, crediting the diplomatic corps and the armed forces for their effective responses in times of conflict. He also highlighted the Prime Minister’s successful visit to Saudi Arabia, which resulted in the launch of the Economic Strategic Framework-a pivotal development aimed at promoting foreign investment in Pakistan.

The Information Minister underscored the government’s priorities, which include strengthening ties with Central Asian states and leveraging Pakistani ports for trade. Tarar expressed the government’s commitment to achieving new economic milestones and enhancing trade relationships with allied nations to ensure sustainable economic growth for Pakistan.
