Global Investors Signal Strong Confidence in Pakistan: Khurram

Islamabad: Adviser to Finance Minister Khurram Schehzad has announced that global investors are signaling strong confidence in Pakistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Adviser shared on his X handle that a virtual investor roadshow, arranged by Standard Chartered Bank in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance and Revenue, showcased an unprecedented level of engagement with Pakistan's investment narrative.

The roadshow saw participation from 225 investors, making it one of the largest and most diverse investor interactions Pakistan has hosted in recent years. It was the first instance where such a broad array of real-money global investors engaged collectively in a single, curated forum at this scale. Minister of Finance Muhammad Aurangzeb, along with his team, led the event by presenting Pakistan's emerging investment story, which is anchored in macro-economic stability, structural reforms, and a clearly improving outlook. They also provided detailed forward guidance on external market funding plans.

The audience at the roadshow comprised foreign institutional investors, global asset managers, pension funds, insurers, sovereign-linked entities, corporates, and multilateral institutions. This composition reflects the serious long-term capital interest evaluating Pakistan's renewed macro and reform trajectory, rather than speculative interest.
