Gilgit-baltistan: The Election Commission of Gilgit-Baltistan has proposed January 24 of next year as the polling day for the general elections in the region.

According to Radio Pakistan, a formal letter has been sent to the President for approval. The proposal is now awaiting the President’s nod to finalize the election schedule and proceed with necessary preparations.
