Islamabad: Acting President Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani has emphasized the need for a stronger healthcare system based on resilience and innovation. Addressing the 14th International Public Health Conference 2024, organized by the Health Services Academy in Islamabad, he stated that equipping healthcare professionals with the right skills and resources is crucial for the strength and resilience of a nation. According to Radio Pakistan, the Acting President stressed that skilled and well-trained professionals are key to creating the conditions that enable people to lead healthier lives. He highlighted that the Senate of Pakistan prioritizes discussion on legislation, policies, and initiatives that foster an enabling environment for health institutions.
