Islamabad: Acting President Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has emphasized the need for unity, dialogue, and collective efforts to address national challenges and ensure political and economic stability. He made these remarks during a meeting with Senators Gurdeep Singh, Asad Qasim, Sardar Muhammad Umer Gorgaij, Falak Naz Chitrali, and former MNA Ms. Maiza Hameed in Islamabad.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Acting President highlighted that strengthening democratic institutions and promoting inclusive development are pivotal for Pakistan’s progress. He stressed the importance of coordinated efforts by federal and provincial authorities to provide timely relief and rehabilitation to the flood-affected people.
Gilani’s call for unity and dialogue comes at a time when Pakistan faces multiple challenges, including economic instability and the aftermath of devastating floods.
