Islamabad: A delegation from the US Pakistan Business Council and the US Chamber of Commerce met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad today. The meeting underscored the importance of geo-economics in Pakistan's foreign policy landscape. According to Radio Pakistan, the delegation was led by Charles Freeman, Senior Vice President for Asia at the US Chamber of Commerce, and Esperanza Gomez Jelalian, President of the US-Pak Business Council. The group included senior executives from leading US companies with operations in Pakistan. During the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar emphasized that geo-economics remains a central focus of Pakistan's foreign policy. He acknowledged the significant role played by the US private sector in bolstering bilateral trade and economic relations between Pakistan and the United States. The US delegation expressed appreciation for Pakistan's continued support and conveyed the interest of US companies in expanding their investments in vari ous sectors within Pakistan.
