Gilgit: Gilgit-Baltistan Disaster Management Authority has rolled out a disaster management strategy to tackle potential cloudburst-induced flooding. This was stated by Director General Disaster Management Authority Zakir Hussain while speaking to a news channel today.

According to Radio Pakistan, Zakir Hussain explained that the strategy emphasizes preparedness and early response to cloudburst-induced floods, aiming to reduce the risk to vulnerable communities. The strategy plan brings together government departments, disaster officials, and partner organizations to streamline emergency measures and improve institutional coordination before potential flood events.
