North waziristan: Four Khwarij belonging to the Indian proxy group Fitna al Khwarij were killed after they attempted to attack a security forces camp in North Waziristan today.
According to Radio Pakistan, the troops engaged the Khwarij with precision, resulting in the martyrdom of four soldiers during the intense exchange of fire. The martyrs have been identified as Havildar Muhammad Waqas of Kotli, Naik Khanwaiz of Mansehra, Sepoy Sufyan Haider of Vehari, and Sepoy Riffat of Leyyah.
The Khwarij attempted to breach the perimeter security, but their plans were swiftly foiled by the vigilant response of the troops. In desperation, the attackers rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into the outer perimeter wall, causing its collapse and significant damage to nearby civilian infrastructure, including a mosque.
This act of terrorism inflicted severe injuries on fifteen local civilians, including children and women. The attack, orchestrated by Afghanistan-based Khwarij, contradicts assertions by the Afghan Taliban regime that such groups do not operate from their territory.
Pakistan expects the Interim Afghan government to prevent the use of its soil by Khwarij against Pakistan, emphasizing the safety and security of its people. Pakistan reserves the right to pursue and eliminate Khwarij facilitators and affiliates to protect its citizens.
