Peshawar: An Emirati government-owned airline, Flydubai, has launched its daily flights between Peshawar and Dubai. The inaugural Flydubai flight arrived at Peshawar’s Bacha Khan International Airport at midnight carrying one hundred and sixty-four passengers.
According to Radio Pakistan, the flight was greeted with a water cannon salute upon its arrival, followed by a ceremony to mark the commencement of Flydubai’s operations in Peshawar. This marks a significant step in enhancing connectivity between the two cities.
Flight FZ-375, which marked the return journey, departed back to Dubai during the early hours, carrying one hundred and eighty-four passengers. Flydubai’s new route is expected to boost travel and trade opportunities between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.
