Field Marshal Asim Munir Vows to Deepen Pak-UAE Partnership

Abu dhabi: Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, has reiterated Pakistan's firm commitment to continuing joint efforts to further strengthen its partnership with the United Arab Emirates in all fields. He conveyed this commitment during a conversation with UAE National Security Advisor and Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in Abu Dhabi today.

According to Radio Pakistan, Field Marshal Munir stated that this partnership would serve the interests of the brotherly peoples of both countries and contribute to peace, stability, and prosperity in the region. He emphasized that the security and stability of the United Arab Emirates are integral to Pakistan's own security, reflecting the enduring historical relations and strong strategic partnership between the two nations.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir also expressed sincere appreciation and gratitude to the UAE government for its longstanding investments and continued support of Pakistan's economy and security over the decades. He noted that such support underscores the deep-rooted historical relations between the two brotherly countries and commended the constructive role of the UAE leadership in advancing economic and social development in Pakistan.

During their meeting, the two sides discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation across various sectors, with a particular focus on economic collaboration, investment, and security. They also exchanged views on regional developments and emphasized the importance of continued coordination to promote peace and stability in the region.
