Islamabad: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defense Forces, has been identified as a strategic leader of significant influence in the evolving global landscape.



According to Radio Pakistan, the British newspaper Financial Times highlighted Field Marshal Asim Munir’s expertise in multi-dimensional foreign policy, emphasizing his role in navigating the challenging era for middle powers. The publication noted his success as a strategist for middle powers, particularly in maintaining and enhancing Pakistan’s diplomatic relations with key global players such as Washington, Beijing, Riyadh, and Tehran.



The Financial Times emphasized that Field Marshal Asim Munir has successfully carved out new diplomatic opportunities for Pakistan amidst rapidly changing global politics. His timely and cordial diplomatic approach, particularly with former U.S. President Donald Trump, was cited as an effective strategy that has bolstered Pakistan’s international standing.



Moreover, the paper noted that Pakistan’s diplomatic achievements have caused disappointment in India. It highlighted that India has faced difficulties in adapting to the shifting global conditions and President Trump’s distinctive diplomatic style, leading to challenges in India’s middle power strategy.
