Islamabad: The Federal Cabinet has lauded Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif for his tremendous role in the Gaza peace agreement. The Cabinet, which met in Islamabad today with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in the chair, also appreciated the speech of the Prime Minister at the Gaza Peace Summit held in Sharm El Sheikh and applauded him by thumping the desks.

According to Radio Pakistan, speaking on the occasion, Shehbaz Sharif said Allah Almighty honored Pakistan as it played a very significant role in the Gaza peace agreement. He mentioned that the world has started considering Pakistan as a very important country after Marka-e-Haq.

On the occasion, the Federal Cabinet ratified the decisions taken in the meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Legislation held on September 23, 2025. It also endorsed the amendments to the Schedule of the Trade Organization Rules, 2013. Under these amendments, there will be no increase in the license grant fee and license renewal fee for women’s Chambers of Commerce and Industry across the country.

The meeting also ratified amendments to the Inter-Board Coordination Commission Act 2023. Under these amendments, it has been directed to ensure thirty-three percent representation of women members in education boards across Pakistan. Furthermore, amendments to the Jammu and Kashmir (Administration of Property) Ordinance 1961, Karachi Port Trust Act 1986, Gwadar Port Authority Ordinance 2002, and Port Qasim Act 1973 to align them with the SOEs Act 2023 were also ratified.

The Federal Cabinet also endorsed the decisions taken in the meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Legislation on October 8, 2025. The Pakistan Digital Authority (Management and Utilization of Digital Nation Fund) Rules, 2025 were also ratified. Amendments in the Governing Council of the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics were also endorsed by the Federal Cabinet.

The Federal Cabinet endorsed the decisions taken in the meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Legislation (CCLC) on October 10, 2025. Amendments to the Armed Forces Nursing Services Rules, 1969 were also ratified. In addition, the Civil Unmanned Aircraft Rules, 2025 were endorsed by the Federal Cabinet. Moreover, the Federal Cabinet also endorsed the amendments in the Passport Amendment Rules, 2021.
