FC Balochistan Launches Blood Bank to Aid Kohlu District Residents

Kohlu: FC Balochistan has established a blood bank in the Kohlu district of the province.

According to Radio Pakistan, the blood bank is providing essential services such as blood storage, blood sampling and grouping, and blood donation facilities at no cost to the residents.

The initiative is proving beneficial to the communities in Kohlu, Maiwand, Sibi, Fazil Chal, Kahan, and Barkhan, offering a much-needed healthcare service. Tribal elders and local residents have expressed their appreciation for the FC’s initiative, describing the free blood bank as a valuable welfare project.

Previously, the absence of a free blood bank in Kohlu meant that patients had to travel to Dera Ghazi Khan for such services. The establishment of this facility has addressed a critical healthcare gap in the region. The tribal elders of Kohlu have expressed gratitude towards FC Balochistan for providing this essential service to the local population.

The MS District Hospital highlighted that many children in Kohlu suffer from Thalassemia, and the availability of this facility will significantly benefit patients in Kohlu and its surrounding areas.
