FBISE announces intermediate annual exams 2024 results

Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has announced the results of the Intermediate Annual Examinations for 2024, showcasing an impressive performance by female students across various groups. According to the results announced by the Board, the percentage of students passing in class 11 is 58.75 percent while in class 12th the passing percentage is 82.58. In the eleventh grade 93257 took part while the number of successful students was 53369. In the pre-medical group, female students grabbed all top three positions. Arooba Asim secured the first position by achieving 1065 marks. She was followed by Tehreem Imran, who earned 1054 marks to claim the second position. Aafia Wajid rounded out the top three with 1053 marks. In the engineering group, Huda Ali Murtaza emerged as the top scorer, obtaining 1045 marks. Abdullah Jawad secured the second position with 1043 marks. In science General group, Hooriya Mubasher Dar achieved first place with 1036 marks, while Isha Siddique earned the second position with 1025 marks. Aman Ajmal also obtained the third position with 1023 marks. In the commerce group, Laiba Noor Islam and Awaiz Faheem both secured the first position with identical scores of 971 marks. Amira Muhammad achieved the second position with 966 marks. The federal board is an autonomous board, which is responsible for conducting the intermediate and secondary education exams in Pakistan and abroad for Pakistan International School. Speaking on this occasion, Federal Minister of Education Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, the chief guest, said that the government is constantly striving to improve the quality of education in government schools. He said the government is also introducing various reforms to provide quality education to students. At the end, Federal Minister of Education, Federal Secretary Education Mohiuddin Ahmed Wani, Chairman Federal Board Syed Junaid Akhlaq and Secretary Federal Board Dr. Bashir Khan distributed prizes among the students who got positions.
