Lahore: The two-day Fourth European Film Festival 2025, curated by Olomopolo Media, began at the Alhamra Art Centre in Lahore today. Returning to Pakistan for audiences in Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore, the festival celebrates European cinema, creativity, and cultural exchange.
According to Radio Pakistan, the event is hosted by a delegation of the European Union and underscores the power of cinema to connect communities and inspire reflection on shared human experiences. The festival will conclude with a series of screenings, interactive installations, and live performances.
This year’s edition features a range of immersive experiences, including the ‘Wall of Fame’, which showcases a century of European cinema through 24 remarkable voices. Other attractions include interactive installations such as the Auteur Ego, Human Slot Game, and 360° Camera, encouraging playful engagement. Dedicated spaces like the Reading Nook and Kids’ Corner provide opportunities to pause, imagine, and explore.
