Islamabad: In an expression of friendship, love and solidarity with the people of Pakistan, European Union ambassadors have paid special tribute to Pakistan on its 79th Independence Day celebrations.

According to Radio Pakistan, in a special video, 20 European ambassadors are seen winning the hearts of Pakistani people and participating in Independence Day celebrations in their own unique ways. EU Ambassador to Pakistan Dr. Riina Kiyonka presents a captivating rendition of the Pakistani national anthem on trumpet.

The diplomats can be seen enthusiastically crafting the national flag of Pakistan, with some carefully shaping the five-pointed star and others cutting out a green cloth to precise measurements. The video directed by Aman Ahmed has been filmed in the scenic landscapes of Islamabad and ends with the message ‘Stronger Together’.
