Enhanced Economic Ties Critical for Strong Pak-US Ties: Rizwan

Islamabad: Pakistan Ambassador to the United States Rizwan Saeed Sheikh says enhanced economic and investment ties are critical for strong and sustainable Pak-US Relations. He was talking to a delegation of Rawalpindi Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries, which is currently visiting the United States. The Ambassador said the United States remains Pakistan’s largest trading market, however, there is a huge potential to increase current business volume several-fold.

According to Radio Pakistan, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh highlighted that low costs and superior quality give Pakistani products a competitive edge over those from other countries in the region. He emphasized the need to focus on non-traditional exports, suggesting that by deepening business relations and catering to market needs, the business volume can be significantly increased.

Meanwhile, the Rawalpindi Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries is organizing a one-day business conference and expo in Virginia. This event will showcase Pakistani products to the US business community, aiming to strengthen economic ties and explore new avenues for collaboration between the two countries.
