Islamabad: The Embassy of the Republic of Korea hosted a colorful event titled “K-Wave Festa: Beauty, Beats and Beyond” in Islamabad, celebrating the growing popularity of Korean culture and its strong ties with Pakistan. Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Charge d’Affaires of the Republic of Korea, Park Jaelark, highlighted various initiatives undertaken by the Korean Embassy, including the recently inaugurated Immersive Gallery at the Islamabad Museum.

According to Radio Pakistan, Park Jaelark emphasized the commitment of the Korean Embassy to deepen cultural and people-to-people exchanges between the two countries. The event aimed to showcase the rich cultural heritage of Korea and its influence, which has been steadily growing in Pakistan.

Visitors to the K-Wave Festa enjoyed an array of Korean food stalls, Hanbok dress experiences, and skincare and makeup booths. These attractions created a lively atmosphere filled with excitement and cultural exchange, allowing attendees to immerse themselves in the vibrant Korean culture.

The event underscored the strengthening of bilateral relations between Korea and Pakistan, with the Korean Embassy taking an active role in fostering mutual understanding and appreciation through cultural events like the K-Wave Festa.
